It can be challenging though satisfying to juggle the two. Remember each provides fuel for the other.

On your e-book... Have you submitted it to any other outlets than Smashwords? It looks as if I might go well in a specialty publication or in a magazine like "Story".Eden "Kymele" Mabeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01550337993392791643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2104865260561251894.post-38546432479673201192012-02-05T14:42:52.170-08:002012-02-05T14:42:52.170-08:00Good job on keeping your writing up. I guess that makes me a binger.

But I could see it working well for others. As a writer, it might be fun. It would probably freak me out though. I'll be interested to see how it goes for you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2104865260561251894.post-11669901487736937192012-02-05T07:43:45.972-08:002012-02-05T07:43:45.972-08:00It seems to be the way to go for many - so why not...It seems to be the way to go for many - so why not try - all avenues to be explored - that looked like a lot of fun up on them hills:)

all the best for coming weekalberta rosshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02132420168908365099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2104865260561251894.post-43019274425026839002012-02-05T06:19:05.251-08:002012-02-05T06:19:05.251-08:00Friend of mine has been writing an ongoing story a...Friend of mine has been writing an ongoing story about surviving an apocalypse, making a blog especially for it intact. Now its going to be published by Siren Call Publishing. She gained a great fan-club on her blog, each member awaiting the next instalment. I think she'll do well when it's published. I'll buy it because I couldn't read much of the text online (white on black *groan*), because although I strained, I've seen the quality of her writing and know I'm going to enjoy it.

Perhaps showcase the first few chapters over a few month period leading up to it's release - publicising as you go. If they enjoy it, they'll buy the book to find out what happened. :) Although some might think this is a rotten tease, you can read the first few chapter of most e-books before you buy, its just that you would have blogged it too :D

Good luck with your goals for the coming week, but enjoy your family too :) XShah Whartonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04997125261145672115noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2104865260561251894.post-17522220693704982722012-02-05T05:40:47.373-08:002012-02-05T05:40:47.373-08:00Gene, thanks for the idea and the link - I really ...Gene, thanks for the idea and the link - I really appreciate the insight!

Have a great day!
EdwardEdwardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03021199936494639069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2104865260561251894.post-41521328944536176642012-02-05T05:37:50.470-08:002012-02-05T05:37:50.470-08:00Last year, Roz Morris did an experiment where she ...Last year, Roz Morris did an experiment where she wrote a novel and then sliced it into four parts, serializing it initially, with good results. Later she compiled the sections together for a fifth product. Creative idea to consider.
